Upgrade your Type 1-based engine with this high-capacity deep sump, precision-crafted from internally reinforced 356 T-6 aluminium. Designed to hold an additional 3.5 quarts (3.3 litres) of oil, it ensures consistent lubrication even under high RPM conditions—protecting your bearings from oil starvation and potential failure.

This sump adds 2.75" to the bottom of the original, so clearance checks are essential for lowered vehicles or those with merged header exhausts (15" wide). It also reduces windage, freeing up horsepower by allowing a slightly lower oil level. Comes complete with all necessary hardware, gaskets, and a choice of three oil pickup tubes to suit your setup.

The 36HP fan housing is an attractive shape and gives more clearance for dual carburettors than a stock late fan shroud. All our fan shrouds are fittings with the correct internal ducting but they do not accept original thermostatic flaps.

Does not have hole for accelerator cable this will need to be drilled yourself.

Sunny climate chrome, supplied without warranty, must be polished and waxed regularly to maintain appearance.

This is an outstanding, lightweight universal electronic fuel pump with state-of-the-art design that can be used in all carburetor-equipped vehicles. In many applications, the advanced technology engineered into the Facet POSI-FLO fuel pump allows for a convenient interchange with the cube fuel pump. In addition it runs quieter, 65DB, versus the noise levels exhibited by earlier competitive solid state technologies. It is rated for 6000 hours of performance. The Facet Posi-Flo Fuel Pumps self-priming capabilities provide up to 12 inches of fuel lift and no extended cranking is necessary to restart the engine if out-of-fuel conditions occur.

Description:

Safety Cut-out Relay Kit for Electric Fuel Pumps

With the safety-cut-out, the electric fuel pump is switched off when, e.g. in the event of an accident, the engine stops and the ignition remains switched on.

This device also protects the fuel pump against damage (risk of overheating), which can occur when the engine stops, but the ignition is on.
