What are alignment shims?
These shims are precision manufactured from a composite plastic material. They simply fit in-between the rear wheel hub assembly and the rear beam/axle.
How do these shims work?
By positioning the disc in one of many different possible orientations it is possible to simultaneously adjust both rear camber and toe.
How do they fit?
A detailed fitting instruction sheet is included. This includes a look-up table that enables you to orientate the disc in the perfect way – thus giving you the best adjustment of camber and toe.
For best results it is useful to have the rear wheel alignment checked prior to fitting. This will provide a datum point with which to begin. Fitting should be carried out by a professional mechanic or competent individual.
