This kit is the main wear area on 1967-1969 busses, the kit mounts to the throttle pedal then goes down through the cab floor to the main swivel section, these kits have sealed roller bearings that allow everything to rotate nice and smoothly. Kit also has a double ended rose joint rod that if you feel needs adjusting you can.
The kit has recently been uprated with a NEW stainless steel top hat section (That`s the part that is usually welded to your floor that the kit bolts to ) These come as standard with every kit , you will need to remove the original steel mount then bolt this stainless mount up in its place . Comes with 4 stainless steel bolts nuts and washers .(Just make sure when bolting up , the push rod from the pedal is centred in the hole in the floor) it will be if the plate is centred over the large hole .
If you look at the image with the mounting plate with the large hole in this as you would look down on the kit installed on your cab floor , this image will help you work out positions of the holes . Lay the plate down inside cab on the floor as the image then drill through the plate .
Also these joints are encased inside a rubber boot to keep all the crud and dirt out as your front wheel is situated right behind the joint.
Plus there is now a tiny 8mm spanner included in the kit, to be used when fitting the small balljoint to the throttle pedal (doesn’t seem much but an absolute time saver, believe us).

This kit is the main wear area on 1969-1972 buses, the kit mounts to the throttle pedal then goes down through the cab floor to the main swivel section, these kits have sealed roller bearings that allow everything to rotate nice and smoothly. Kit also has a double ended rose joint rod that if you feel needs adjusting you can.
The kit has recently been uprated with stainless steel top hat section (Thats the part that is usually welded to your floor that the kit bolts to ) These come as standard with every kit , you will need to remove the original steel mount then bolt this stainless mount up in its place . Comes with 4 stainless steel bolts nuts and washers .(Just make sure when bolting up , the pushrod from the pedal is centered in the hole in the floor).
Also these joints are encased inside a rubber boot to keep all of the crud and dirt out as your front wheel is situated right behind the joint. (Also makes it easier to squirt a bit of lubricant in there from time to time). Plus there is now a tiny 8mm spanner included in the kit, to be used when fitting the small balljoint to the throttle pedal (doesn’t seem much but an absolute time saver, believe us).

Notes:The kit consists of: A laser cut 5mm steel replacement pivoting linkage complete with sealed ball bearing swivel section Upgraded linkage from the pedal with bolted rose joints Rose jointed link rod return spring & mounting hardware When bolting the end of your throttle cable to the linkage, tighten then undo by a half turn to allow the cable to rotate freely. Use the supplied return spring if the kit is being used with a standard carburretor. Twin carburretors will have their own return springs which are stronger than stock springs.

AC721013 – Accelerator Pedal Chassis Repair for Right Hand Drive
Description:
If you have a Right Hand Drive Early Bay you will possibly have a sloppy throttle rod that goes through your chassis, over the years people have possibly welded on washers to reduce the play. With this kit you can fit a new bearing onto your original rod, so do away with the play and give you zero slop.

Notes:Will fit RHD Baywindow from 68-721) Remove the roll pin that holds the end piece on2) Then the end piece should just pull off , this part may come straight off , or may need heat to remove it3) Once end piece is off clean the shaft up using some sandpaper\/wet and dry paper to clean off the corrosion, until the bearing slides over. (Slide bearing and holder up to the section thats worn4) Using the bearing holder mark through the 2 outer holes, then drill 2 holes and bolt the plate on5) Lubricate the shaft and fit the new end piece and secure in place with the supplied roll pin. Then remount the throttle kit
