Notes:
1. Remove drive gear from the centre of the original motor. 2. Remove old motor from the main frame. 3. Fit new motor securing the 2 shorter bolts. 4. Add the long bolt to the bottom hole. This will come out of the back of the main frame, Once tight add the earth wire from the back and use the Nylock nut to secure it in place. 5. Connect the white loom plug into motor socket. 6. Add the drive gear to the new motor. The motor is supplied in the parked position. Looking directly at the output shaft of the motor, it rotates clockwise. From this you can work out where the blades will park. If you leave the drive loose you can simulate what is going to happen by moving the driver round manually. 7. Refit mechanism, connect power and test without the arms on the spindles so you can see if it is parking in the correct place.)
- Black wire with the inline fuse goes to the fusebox same terminal as the original supply . (This is the 12v live feed)
Black wire that also has a
red wire piggybacked onto it goes to terminal marked + on the original 2
position switch , but if using an aftermarket switch it is terminal 30
Blue wire is the slow
standard speed that goes to terminal 53 on the switch (Speed 1)
Yellow wire goes to terminal
53A on the switch (Speed 2)
The Black wire coming from
the motor itself is an earth and goes to the main frame where it all bolts up ,
this is the best place for an earth .
